More about the photographic processThis series of images uses slide projections as the only source of light. I do a lot of photography to find images to use for this purpose, particularly textures and images of a certain structure. The trick is to utilize the built in light-range limitation of film so that any part of the projection that doesn't hit the body is dark enough to show up black on the film. When it works well, there is a strong interaction between the "canvas," the projected image, and the viewer.
